Code & Create: Games + Gadgets Camp {Gr 4-6} Full Day Camp - Menlo Park - Jul 13th - 9am
Mon to Fri - 5 days x 7 hrs per day
Jul 13th to Jul 17th - 9am to 4pm
In this full-day camp, students (Grades 4–6) explore how games and interactive technology are created—both on screen and in the real world. In the mornings, campers dive into game development fundamentals, learning how to design characters, build game mechanics, and think logically as they create their own playable games using a beginner-friendly coding environment. The focus is on core programming concepts such as sequencing, conditionals, and problem-solving through fun, project-based challenges.
In the afternoons, the camp shifts to coding and electronics with Micro:bit, where students bridge software with hardware by building interactive gadgets, games, and experiments. They’ll explore sensors, inputs and outputs, and learn how code can control real-world behavior. Our instructors will supervise lunch from 12–1 pm (lunch not provided—students must bring their own). Families may enroll in the full-day experience or choose either the morning or afternoon session as a half-day camp.
