This is a camp which focuses on the design aspect of Minecraft and less on the Gameplay. We will be working on getting kids familiar with image-editing software and then using that knowledge to implement the end products that they designed, into their Minecraft world. This course requires that the kid is familiar with the basics of Minecraft and has played Minecraft before, since we will not be able to introduce the kid to the basics of Minecraft.

Enroll your kids (Grades 4-6) in this all-day program where they learn to create and code up their own games on 2 different platforms (Roblox and MakeCode Arcade), instead of just playing them! In the morning camp, kids learn game design fundamentals like level design and game mechanics to create projects in Roblox including obstacle courses, simulators, and other adventures in the virtual world. In the afternoon camp, kids code their own games in MakeCode Arcade (a kid-friendly platform for coding arcade games), adapting from classics like PacMan to modern favorites like Crossy Road and other Platformer games. Join for a fun-filled creative game design and coding journey! Our instructors will supervise the lunch break from 12–1 pm (lunch not provided—students must bring their own). Families may also choose to enroll in either the morning or afternoon session as a half-day camp.

In the afternoons, the focus shifts to the artistic side of Minecraft, where campers use image-editing tools to create and customize their very own Resource Packs, implementing textures and designs directly into their game. By the end of the week, campers will have both engineered complex redstone systems and designed personalized packs, mastering a full spectrum of Minecraft creativity! Our team will supervise the lunch break from 12–1 pm (lunch not provided—students must bring their own).
